to your Thomson Scientific resources—providing you with the innovative
content, tools and technology that today’s research world demands.
April 2005 upgrades to ISI Web of Knowledge give users more power
and flexibility, with new hyperlinks, search capabilities and enhanced Analyze
functionality: The enhancements* include:
- Links to full text within results summary lists
- "Search within results", available on search summary pages; allows
users to modify an original search without having to start from scratch
- One-click search from the full record; users will be able to start another
search by clicking on the hyperlinked terms within certain fields
- Access to the full title of the cited article when users roll over the “View
Record” link in cited reference lists within Web of Science®
and ISI ProceedingsSM
- Ability to reference a set number in a query
- Additional field — Country/Territory — within the Analyze tool
provides another way for users to refine and analyze search results; available
within Web of Science, Current Contents Connect® and
ISI Proceedings
* Unless otherwise noted, these changes apply to all cross-searchable products
within ISI Web of Knowledge, with the exception of Derwent Innovations Index.
